Tell Your Patients About $100 Incentive for COVID Vaccine!

Vaccination is the best form of protection against COVID-19 and new variants, but boosting rates across Ohio may require new strategies to reach families who might otherwise not get vaccinated. Thanks in part to the Ohio AAP’s advocacy and close working relationship with the healthplans, incentive payments will now be available to eligible Medicaid members. From now until the end of the year, all Ohio Medicaid and MyCare members aged 12+ who receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will receive a $100 incentive payment. Additional details on payout for each plan are summarized in the graphic below.

To help spread this information, the Ohio AAP has put together additional resources and sample social media posts for sharing!

I like how you mentioned that the best protection against the virus is having a vaccination. My wife told me yesterday that she wants our son to have a vaccination to be sure that he will be safe from different illnesses, and she asked if I had any idea what would be the best option to do for safety purposes. I’m thankful for this informative article, I’ll be sure to have vaccination appointments at health care services.
