Recall on Three MAJOR Applesauce Pouch Brands

Recall on three MAJOR applesauce pouch brands! The FDA has announced a recall for WanaBana, Schnucks, and Weis brand applesauce pouches as there have been 52 reports alleging that consumption of applesauce has led to elevated blood lead levels in children ages 1 to 4. Two of these cases were from young children in Ohio. Schnucks and Weis products have been pulled from shelves at their stores, but there have been several reports of WanaBana being stocked and available for purchase at Dollar Tree locations.
