Ohio AAP’s First ALL Virtual Annual Meeting Huge Success!

Earlier this year, the Ohio AAP made the difficult decision to move this year’s 2020 Annual Meeting from an in-person to virtual event because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and out of an abundance of caution to keep our members and staff safe. Because this was a totally new experience, having never held an Annual Meeting 100% virtually before, we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Luckily, this year’s meeting held November 20th-21st online was a massive success! Thanks to the hard work of our staff, leadership, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, and of course our members- we had one of our best Annual Meetings yet!  The new remote format allowed the Ohio AAP to provide important education, CME/MOC credit opportunities, and resources to many across the state, all from the comfort and safety of home! With record-breaking attendance, we are proud to continue to offer our members and all those in the healthcare field, educational content that promotes the health and safety of Ohio’s children, even in these difficult times.

While this year’s event may have looked different than years past, the essential and unparalleled education and positive impact remains the same. Take a look at the video below for some of the event’s highlights and follow the link to access presentations and materials from the day.
