The Ohio AAP has been working hard this past year to provide our members relevant education and resources on pediatrics and to be a constant source of information in these demanding and rapidly changing times. This past year has certainly been challenging, but we hope you were able to turn to the Ohio AAP for pertinent information and with your most pressing questions. Earlier this week, the Ohio AAP recorded our most recent podcast on the 21st Century Cures Act. During the session I was joined by S. Andrew Spooner, MD, FAAP, Chief Medical Information Officer of Biomedical Informatics (Cincinnati Children’s), and together we provided an overview of the Cures Act and an in-depth look at the information blocking and interoperability provision that will affect your practice, patients, and EHR. A recording of the podcast is now available here or via the link below. We hope you will give the recording a listen!

The Ohio AAP will continue to provide the most up to date information and resources for our members so together we can continue to promote the health, safety and well-being of Ohio’s children and adolescents. We hope you find this information informative and useful and ask you to please reach out to the Ohio AAP at 614-846-6258 with any questions.
