Ohio AAP Atopic Dermatitis Regional Trainings and QI Project
The Ohio AAP’s newest quality improvement and regional education program will focus on improving the recognition, diagnosis, and management of atopic dermatitis (AD) in primary care settings. Trainings will offer 3 hours of CME/MOC Part 2 Credit. There are FREE resources for families. The next training date is on:

Interested in upcoming QI project? One-year practice transformation program, with quality improvement coaching from a practice coach and guidance from the project team. 50 Points of MOC Part IV and 20 Points of MOC Part II credit will be available. Contact amiller@ohioaap.org with questions!
Ohio AAP Lead Free Ohio Prevention Screening and Care
The Ohio AAP is bringing a quality improvement program to improve lead screening and management of lead poisoning to a location near you! The goal of the training and QI program is to educate about the gap in current lead testing and improve testing rates. Participants will receive 25 MOC IV points. The project will kick off in July 2020 and is a 6-month project.
Teen Immunizations National Quality Improvement Project
The Ohio AAP is pleased to announce the launch of an adolescent immunization learning collaborative convened through the National AAP Chapter Quality Network (CQN). The primary goal will be to increase rates of the vaccines recommended for adolescents between 16 and 18 years of age. Eligible participants will receive Maintenance of Certification Part 2 and Part 4, and Performance Improvement Continuing Medical Education (PI CME). Deadline to enroll is August 31, 2020.
