In Spring 2013, the Ohio AAP put together a Health Plan Assistance Guide. This guide was created as a resource for Ohio AAP Members to “help them help their patients”. This tool was created as a result of the Ohio AAP’s Pediatric Care Council.

The toolkit includes evidence-based messages as recommended by the Expert Committee within the National Initiative for Children’s Healthcare Quality (NICHQ) and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
