Doctors Who Can Help
Nearly 100 medical practices, with over 900 practitioners, in more than 30 counties across the state have taken part in the Concerned About Development Learning Collaborative (CADLC) to use evidence-based screening to help determine if a child might be experiencing a developmental delay. Click on your county — or one near you — to find a doctor who can perform a screening:
Additionally, qualified day care centers who have achieved a two or three star rating in the “Step Up To Quality Program” also screen for potential delays in development.
Once you have set up your screening appointment, prepare for your appointment to help ensure your visit with the doctor is productive.
