CADLC – Parents

Are you worried that your child is not developing properly? Maybe he isn’t talking yet, and you think he should be talking. Maybe she isn’t smiling at you or responding when you say her name. Maybe you just don’t know how he or she should be developing based on her age. Regardless of what your concern is – or how big or small it may be – we are here to help.

There are three simple things you can do right now to address your concerns:

  1. Review a list of typical developmental milestones for your child’s age group. (English, Spanish)
  2. If you are still concerned, find a doctor who can screen your child for development.
  3. To make the most of your time with your pediatrician, prepare for your appointment.
