Vote for the Health of Ohio’s Kids! Ohio AAP’s New Voting Toolkit

The November election is less than 3 months away and we want to ensure all Ohioans are ready to vote and have their voices heard! Voting helps with health equity. Laws and policies can negatively affect disadvantaged groups, making it harder to access resources and opportunities to those already underserved. We need elected representatives who will champion the health and wellness of ALL of Ohio’s kids, and pediatrician’s can help.

By building off of National AAP’s Get Out the Vote campaign, Ohio AAP has created a How to Register & Vote Toolkit. Using our sample social media messaging, infographic, and information, help us educate those in our communities on voting basics as well as the benefits of voting. Voting is a civic responsibility for all, but the reality is many eligible voters simply won’t vote. Let’s help change that in this upcoming election but providing resources to make registration and voting easy for all!
