Improving Recognition, Diagnosis and Management of Atopic Dermatitis (3 CME)

1 in 10 children have some form of Atopic Dermatitis- Ohio AAP’s FREE virtual trainings will focus on improving the recognition, diagnosis, and management of atopic dermatitis (AD) in primary care settings. Participants will:

  • Discuss implementation of dermatology-focused best practices in AD management and patient adherence to treatment.
  • Develop skills in the mental health and primary care implementation of AD in pediatric patients.

Childhood Lead Prevention 2-Part Training (2 CME)

The Ohio AAP’s 2-part training aims to improve lead screening and management of lead poisoning and educate about the gap in current lead testing to improve testing rates. Participants will:

  • Describe current trends in lead poisoning epidemiology and adherence to medical management guidelines
  • Explain resources to families
  • Integrate counseling on lead poisoning prevention into anticipatory guidance.
