MOC Part IV Opportunities: Injury Prevention, Nutrition, Infant Mortality

The Ohio Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics has many opportunities for quality improvement programs that offer Maintenance of Certification Part II and IV credit. These programs also offer a range of involvement options according to the needs of your practice.

Smoke Free for Me Learning Collaborative: This program focuses on helping primary care providers save infant lives, and promote long-term health conditions for Ohio’s children, by decreasing in-home smoke exposure for infants age o-12. Injury Prevention Plus SEEK: Be a part of the solution to abuse and neglect by identifying children at risk and provide resources to families by using the Ohio AAP’s injury prevention screening tool and the nationally recognized SEEK tool. Parenting at Mealtime and Playtime: Address weight stigmatization and bias in the healthcare setting and implement practical strategies to promote healthy weight and nutrition.
