Yesterday, Governor Mike DeWine announced the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services approved the use of Children Health Insurance Program (CHIP) funds to expand lead abatement efforts in Ohio. With this approval, the state of Ohio can move forward to reduce lead exposure and mitigate its impacts on Ohio’s most vulnerable population.
