2016 Kids Health Conference: Setting the Stage for Healthy Kids

The 2016 Kids Health Conference, presented by Voices for Ohio’s Children, is on May 25-26, 2016 at the Sheraton Hotel on Capitol Square in Columbus. The conference is a two-day, statewide conference that will host more than 150 state and local leaders and explore methods to help Ohio’s 3 million children stay healthy both mentally and physically within their homes, schools, and communities.

2016 marks Voices for Ohio’s Children’s 20th anniversary of “Setting the Stage for Tomorrow’s Leaders.” They will offer plenary sessions from Georgetown University’s Tricia Brooks and CATCH Court founder Judge Paul Herbert–where they will also be recognizing Sen. Rob Portman for his work on human trafficking–as well as panels made up of representatives from the Ohio Departments of Health and Medicaid.

Attendees will also enjoy more than 20 breakout workshops from experts from across the state, who will provide Ohio healthcare providers, parents, educators, policymakers, and advocates with the knowledge and tools they need to help children start healthy and stay healthy throughout their lives.

Nurses, counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists may earn up to 11.5 CEUS! Click here for more information and to register.
