Maximizing Office Based Immunization (MOBI) and Teen Immunization Education Sessions (TIES) are statewide programs aimed at improving Ohio’s immunization rates. They are provided through funding by the Ohio Department of Health with a federal grant with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Maximizing Office Based Immunization (MOBI)
MOBI focuses on providing education about childhood immunizations to health-care providers with a focus on office-based practice and that all two year old children be immunized according to the ACIP schedule. This activity takes one hour to complete.
Teen Immunization Education Sessions (TIES)
TIES trains practices in evidence-based strategies to overcome barriers to adolescent immunizations with a goal of all adolescents being immunized according to the ACIP schedule. The goal of both programs is that this education will lead to office system changes and result in a sustained increase in Ohio’s immunization rates. This activity takes approximately one hour to complete.
