Speak for Those Without a Voice – Ohio AAP Foundation Luncheon

On September 27, 334 Ohio AAP members and partners contributed to the more than $20,000 raised at the Annual Meeting Keynote Luncheon, where Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha shared the compelling story of how her work uncovered the crisis of lead exposure through the water in Flint, MI. During this luncheon, more than $2,000 was raised in the 2nd Unlock the Box Raffle Prize contest, with prizes including a Ryan Day signed OSU football, a hotel stay, and many spa services and beauty products.

Luncheon Keynote speaker, Mona Hanna-Attisha, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician, professor, and public health advocate whose research exposed the Flint water crisis. Her research revealed children were exposed to dangerous levels of lead in Flint, Michigan.
