Welcome to the Ohio AAP’s Practice Management webpage!

We know that those involved in practice management are a very important part of a pediatrics practice. We want to be a source of information and assistance for you. On this page, you’ll find resources including how to become a member of Ohio AAP, a link to sign up for a listserv to discuss issues with other practices, and a form that allows you to let us know what you need!

Why Become a Member?

The cost to become a member of the the Ohio AAP is minimal compared to the benefits. You will get access to resources your practice could use, information on headlines your patients are asking about, information on legislation that will impact you and your patients, the ability to take part in our Pediatric Care Council that works with Ohio’s managed care to find practical ways to promote children’s health, and more. The cost is a mere $55 a year. Click here to sign up. Choose the membership option for “

Practice Management Listserv

The Ohio AAP offers a Practice Manager listserv as a free resource for those involved in practice management to communicate issues, ideas and advice to others in all corners of the state. Participants post issues they are experiencing and use their peers as resources to help resolve those issues. We encourage topics on:

  • Billing & coding
  • Staffing policies
  • Patient policies
  • Equipment
  • Day-to-day issues

The Ohio AAP moderates the page. Click here to review the policies and procedures. Any policy updates will be communicated to members. Click here to join.
